Molecular Weight: This protein is fused with 6×His tag at the C-terminus, has a calculated MW of 23.3 kDa. The predicted N-terminus is Ser 22. DTT-reduced Protein migrates as 40-63 kDa due to glycosylation.

Concentration: N/A

Appearance: Lyophilized

Physical form description: Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS, pH 7.4. Normally Mannitol or Trehalose is added as protectants before lyophilization.

Reconstitution Instructions: Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile PBS, pH 7.4 to a concentration of 50 µg/ml. Do not vortex. This solution can be stored at 2-8°C for up to 1 month. For extended storage, it is recommended to store at -20°C.

Background Information: Intercellular adhesion molecule 2 (ICAM2) is also known as CD antigen CD102, which belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily and ICAM family. ICAM2 contains two Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains. ICAM proteins are ligands for the leukocyte adhesion protein LFA-1 (integrin alpha-L/beta-2). ICAM2 / CD102 may play a role in lymphocyte recirculation by blocking LFA-1-dependent cell adhesion. It mediates adhesive interactions important for antigen-specific immune response; NK-cell mediated clearance, lymphocyte recirculation, and other cellular interactions important for immune response and surveillance.

Amino acid sequence: N/A

Handling: Centrifuge the vial prior to opening.

Usage: For Research Use Only! Not to be used in humans
