Background Information: Erythropoietin Receptor is a member of the cytokine receptor family. It mediates erythropoietin-induced erythroblast proliferation and differentiation, activation of Jak2 tyrosine kinase which activates different intracellular pathways including: Ras/MAP kinase, phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase and STAT transcription factors. The stimulated erythropoietin receptor plays a role in erythroid cell survival. Defects in the erythropoietin receptor may produce erythroleukemia and familial erythrocytosis.

Amino acid sequence: The target protein is expressed with the sequence (Ala25-Pro250) of human Erythropoietin Receptor protein fused to Fc and 6×His tag at the C-terminus.

Handling: Centrifuge the vial prior to opening.

Usage: For Research Use Only! Not to be used in humans
